The molded harness uses three color-coded wires for quick identification—black for backup, green for stop and turn, and red for tail light—and the ground runs through the mounting hardware. The shockproof socket protects the 2057 incandescent bulb for long service life, while the corrosion-proof plastic housing stands up to outdoor conditions. This light surface-mounts using integrated studs set 2" apart center-to-center. The included hardware provides a solid mount that also serves as the ground connection. Once tightened down, the housing sits firm against the trailer body, keeping your wiring protected and your light aimed right where it should be.
Designed for 12.8V systems, it draws 2.3 amps for stop/turn and 0.9 amps for tail functions—steady output that keeps brightness consistent without overloading your electrical system. It’s a solid match when you want reliable illumination without extra complexity.

There was a post by your customer service that this was the best replacement for the item I was looking for. It required considerable modification to the product but I was able to make it work.
The lights I ordered were exactly what I ordered and needed. They wired up easily and look great.
Product is great just had to paint the underside , so the plate light was not showing up on the body of the jeep.
wish they had this version in LED ones for this price. But they are good lights at a great price. etrailer has what you need when you need it.

These are the exact ones I needed to replace the old ones on my 1980 C-10 Chev. SWB Stepside PU. The originals (on a barn find) were eaten off the truck by a Rottweiler Dog. Bringing the old girl back- she is in wonderful shape. These look and fit perfectly.thanks, and your return policy worked great too, for those trial and error tries. Fit perfect.. reverse light could be brighter so I’m adding led lift strips and tapping into the reverse wire to add to it.

Lights are installed, we can't get the brake light to work when the lights are on.....brake light works when the lights are off. We are figuring it is a grounding issue, as Jeep CJ5's are notorious for grounding issues. We have even ran a ground from one of the bolts that hold the light on the Jeep. Again, we are sure it is a grounding issue with the Jeep itself. Thank you for a great product, for the fast shipping, great pricing and continued follow up.
