  Often the license plate holder has an integrated light that requires replacing the entire holder as well. I recommend the LED Trailer License-Plate Light w/ Mounting Bracket - 2 Wire - 5 Diodes - Clear # LPL56CB because there are no bulbs to replace and there is a lifetime warranty on the LEDs.   Optronics tail lights # ST56RS and # ST57RS are submersible assemblies. This means that water can drain out of them. What I recommend are sealed lights such as # STL57RB and # STL56RB so water cannot get in at all. Sealed lights will have far less issues than regular submersible lights.

  I did a Google search on the 5110310 part number you provided, and couldn't find any reference to it. Perhaps this was Shorelander's internal part number for the lamp? If you click the provided link, you can see the Wesbar taillights we offer. I do know that the # 403025 was commonly used by Shorelander. Given the measurements you provided, # 403025 is the likely replacement. If you'd care to reply with a photo of the remaining passenger side lamp, I'd be happy to look into it further for you.

• Removing Existing Trailer Taillight
  The procedure from removing your existing lamps will depend on the lamp itself. If your current lamp is part # ST57RS, there are bolts on the rear of the lamp that pass through the mounting bracket on the trailer.   Unfortunately Malcolm, Optronics does not manufacturer replacement lenses for your Tail Lights # ST57RS, # ST56RS. You would either have to get all new lights to use their lenses or you could replace your tail lights with ones like the # TLL160RK. These are LED upgrades so they will be brighter and last longer. And we do carry the Replacement Lenses # A16RB which will fit these lights.
