Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Optronics replacement amber lens. This is going to replace the lens for your MC44 series and BA44 series trailer light. This is a nice plastic construction, so it's going to do a good job of protecting your lights on your trailer. You can see this is SAE certified and compliant with Department of Transportation standards.
So it should hold up well and do a good job for you. This lens is right at four inches in width. Our height looking at probably about an inch and a half. So you can see there. And then the thickness there ...
Looking at, I'm going to call it right about three quarters of an inch for the amount that it's going to stick out from the trailer. You can see this is a nice orange amber colored lens. So it's going to give you a nice amber light on your trailer to make sure that everyone is aware of where you're at in those low light settings. That's going to complete our look for today. I have a Pace 6x10 enclosed with a ramp. When I bought it the clearance lights on the fenders really didn't work. They were also missing 2 amber and 1 red lens coverso. I fixed the ground issue on both sides and etrailer hooked me up with the lens covets. Popped them on problem. Exactly what I needed.
