Installing Trailer Marker Light With Two Black Wires

Question:
1969 Shasta Compact Old rear side ‘Marker light’ has one wire but the new one has 2 black wires... how do I install? Thanks

Expert Reply:
You'd simply attach one wire to power from the taillight circuit, the other should ground to the trailer frame. I'd look closely at that wires to see if one has a white stripe indicating ground.
