Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure

Question:

Toyota sales and parts Department tell me that our adventure is pre-wired for Towing. But I have talked to and brought in my adventure to two different service managers for major dealers in our area and they have both said that our RAV4 Adventure is not pre-wired that my car had no pre-wiring done. Was Toyota wrong when they said that it was pre-wired for Towing? How do I find out if my RAV4 Adventure what the cost would be to get it wired

Sounds like they checked your 2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure thoroughly for trailer wiring connections and none were found. This isn't a huge deal though as we have the Tekonsha kit part # 118578 which is a confirmed fit for your vehicle and requires no vehicle wiring splicing so it's a great an easy solution. It installs by plugging inline with the taillight connectors at the rear of your vehicle like the install video link I attached shows.
