I have a 2014 Toyota Rav4 and both hitches below show to be a match. What is the difference between the two trailer hitches? Item # e98864 and Item # C13149 Thank you

Paint finish and price. Curt makes our house brand hitches so all the specifications and capacities for both the Curt Hitch item # C13149 and the etrailer item # e98864 are identical.

Both of these hitches are confirmed to fit the 2014 Toyota RAV4 and bolt to your vehicle with included hardware. I like to recommend the etrailer Hitch item # e98864 over the Curt item # C13149 because the flat black paint tends to blend in beneath the vehicles trim better. Either way unless you're hung up on what color it is I would go with the most affordable option.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56350 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.

I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
