Thanks for the quick response! I have a small trailer 4X5 that I load my camping gear into, also I have a 4 bike, hitch bike carrier.

@MichaelH You're welcome! The etrailer Hitch item # e98848 is definitely going to handle a small trailer and will be perfect for a bigger 4-bike bike rack. To control your trailer's lights you'll also need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # C56370.

@MichaelH the hitch works fine. the installation was not exactly right. i needed to use an angle grinder/cut off whirl to grind away and remove some metal at the forward facing top of the receiver in order to get it to sit flush under the 2024 Honda CR V

It fit well. I installed by myself. Just be careful about the trunk release sensor.

@Charles Did you install this hitch on a 2026 Honda CRV? If so, then I would be very interested to know if there were any differences from the 2025 install video provided by etrailer I just received the hitch and could use any advice/tips before I start the install. Thanks!
