What are the hitch extension lengths on 21 RDX class ll and class lll, meaning protrusion? Which hitch also offers best ground clearance.

Hello Raymond, thanks for reaching out. When we measure the protrusion of the hitch, we measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the farthest edge of the bumper. For the 2021 Acura RDX, the class 2 hitch # 36114 will protrude the farthest. For this hitch the center of the pin hole is 2" past the rearmost edge of the bumper. For the class 3 Hitch # C95CR this distance is only 1/2".
Both of the hitches you mentioned will have the exact same ground clearance, with 12-1/2" from the bottom edge of the receiver to the ground. I recommend going with the Curt Class 3 Hitch # C95CR just because the 2" receiver is more common, and you will have no trouble finding compatible accessories.
