Recommended Trailer Hitch for A 2022 Acura RDX Advance

Question:

Looking for a hitch for my new 2022 Acura RDX Advance. Confused by conflicting info for 2021 RDX Advanced... one answer I read says Curt hitch works but not with 19inch spare that is supplied w the Advance. Other answer says confirmed it will work with all RDX trims. Is there a definitive answer re use w/ 19inch compact spare? Same re use or not of the Advance Hands Free rear lift gate feature... its not comforting when it states it may work but may not??? Thanks

The American made Curt Class III Hitch Receiver # C95CR is a confirmed fit for all models of the 2022 Acura RDX, including the Advance package. With that said, 19" wheels cannot be stored under the vehicle as the hitch will sit inside of the frame and will take up too much room for it to fit properly. As to the kick sensor, I have never seen one ever be completely negated. You will need to find the sweet spot on either side of the receiver as it will sit in the same place as the sensor.

The Draw-Tite # 76268 has not yet been confirmed for the 2022 models yet, but it had the same fitment notes, unfortunately.
