Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2021 Acura RDX With Advance Package

Question:
Can you confirm that the Curt Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch Code: C95CR will work on 2021 Acura RDX equipped with the Advance Package. I recall reading some time back that the size of the spare tire caused a problem on the Advanced Package model. Thank you.

I confirmed with my contact at Curt that the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C95CR will fit all models of the 2021 Acura RDX and will not interfere with the spare tire on models with the Advance Package. The instructions do state that removal of the spare is required for installation, but you can then re-install the spare after the receiver is installed. The only issue you may run into is usage of the rear kick sensor; it looks like you may have to kick to one side or the other, not in the middle. This receiver does offer a simple bolt-on installation process and requires no drilling or welding. Instructions and hardware are included.
