That soft, wandering ride isn't your imagination. Stock struts weren't built for your lifestyle. When your suspension starts feeling sketchy, these struts step in with real support - built for weight, tuned for terrain, and ready to go.
No one wants a universal fit shock pretending to know your vehicle. These are tuned for your exact rig, weight distribution, and terrain so you get comfort and control, no matter how you load it out.
Sometimes you're towing. Other times you're hauling gear or passengers. Five seat positions and included spacers make it easy to adjust ride height and handling for different loads - no special tools or extra parts needed.
The twin-tube body adds a layer of armor against trail impacts and road debris while providing reliable damping, even under harsh compression or washboard roads.
Triple-lip oil seals block out mud, dust, and water. Poly/rubber bushings are built for longevity - no squeaking, no cracking, no worries.
A large-bore piston with Teflon-infused slip rings keeps the oil moving and the heat down. That means less fade, better consistency, and a more responsive feel on rough terrain.
Not every trail rig or work truck weighs the same. These struts take into account load-carrying accessories like winches, bumpers, rooftop tents, and more - giving you confidence, not compromise.

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our Old Man Emu Replacement Nitrocharger Plus Strut for your front assembly. Folks, this is going to be valved specifically for your year, make, and model, and load setup, so make sure you get the right parts for your specific vehicle. Call, chat, email us, or check out our fit guide here at etrailer.com before you make your purchase. Now, this does use a custom ride height option. You're gonna have five positions on the spring seat, and that's gonna let you dial in your stance and clearance based on the weight and terrain.
You're gonna have reduced body roll, you're gonna sharpen your steering, and keep you stable under load with these. Now, again, this is a replacement part, so you probably already have these, so you kinda know how to do all that. If not, for all the instructions and all those settings, you can find the instructions. As you can see, I got this white strap on here for safety, that's the way it comes shipped. I'm gonna leave it there, so it stays compressed.
But it would look like this when it's unstrapped and when you get everything pretty much in position. The one thing that's really nice about them as well is that they use a twin tube design and a heavy gauge steel construction, so it's gonna withstand those rough trails, rocky terrains, abuse, all that kinda stuff. And again, this, as you know, is designed to work in tandem with the complete system from Old Man Emu, again, with those vehicle-specific coil springs as well. Well, folks, I think that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
