Will The Curt Hitch Receiver Fit A 2022 Acura RDX With A Factory Trim Piece

Question:

Will the Curt Class III hitch, part # C95CR, fit my 2022 Acura RDX? I have read that it may be an issue with the factory trim piece.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", part # C95CR, will fit your 2022 Acura RDX. There are some issues that you should be aware of before installation. The first thing is your spare tire will have to be 18" or smaller in order to install this hitch receiver. If you have a larger spare tire, it will not be able to be stored underneath your vehicle. In addition, you may lose the functionality of your hands-free lift gate due to sensor interference.

With regards to your factory trim, this Curt hitch receiver is compatible, even with the factory trim piece. The trim piece will obscure the hitch receiver.
