This Curt trailer hitch receiver gives your vehicle a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" opening with a Class II rating. It’s built for light-duty towing with up to 3,500 lbs gross trailer weight and 350 lbs tongue weight. That’s enough for small campers, boats, or utility trailers, plus plenty of strength for cargo carriers or bike racks. The round-tube design keeps things sturdy without looking bulky under the bumper.
You don’t need to weld or modify anything to get this hitch on your vehicle. The bolt-on install uses included hardware and lines up with existing mounting points. Everything you need comes in the box—no drilling or fabrication required. For most folks, it’s an approachable weekend project that can be done with basic tools.
The hitch is made from fully welded steel and finished in a gloss black powder coat over a protective base layer. Thanks for following up with me. Everything worked well. However, my dog ate most of the wiring from underneath the trailer. So I will need to pull all the old wiring and replace it. If you could point me towards a wiring harness that would work for this I would appreciate it!
