Question:
I have a 2015 Outback 3.6R, which means dual exhaust. Of all the videos Ive seen on installation of the Class 3 hitch, Ive not seen one for the dual exhaust version. Also, I need the correct part number of the Curt hitch.

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon 3.6R Limited with dual exhaust we do offer a 2-inch Class III hitch from Draw-Tite, part # 75673, that fits as long as you do NOT have the Sport model. I also checked with my contact at Curt and their Class III hitch # C13206 is a confirmed fit for the non-Sport edition. I recommend the Draw-Tite # 36284 as it does not require a support strap # 18050 like the Curt hitch does when used with non-trailer loads like bike racks.
If you'll be towing you'll need a wiring harness # 118467 as well as a ball mount # D-4, Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3, and hitch ball, either 2-inch ball # 63845 or 1-7/8-inch ball # 19260.
I linked for you an article with tips for easier hitch installation. You'll need mostly basic tools (they are listed in the linked instructions).
