Hi, Im looking to buy a trailer hitch for my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015 Laredo. Biggest and probably only usage is for a bike rack setup. Do you have a suggestion on Curt vs Draw Tite in terms of tongue weight? They both say 500lbs

Since both the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13065 and the Draw-Tite # 75699 you were looking at for your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee have the same 500lb tongue weight rating and 5000lb trailer weight rating I recommend going with the Curt hitch.

This is due to the Curt hitch being made in the USA, and having a tougher powder coat finish which keeps it looking better, longer.

Since you will primarily be carrying a bike rack, this hitch is all you will need. It sounds like you already have a bike rack but if you do not I recommend taking a look at the RockyMounts MonoRail Bike Rack # RKY10004 is a great option that lets you carry two bikes weighing up to 60lbs each, and tilts down with bikes loaded to allow you access to the rear cargo area of your Jeep.
