This hitch adds real utility to your setup. With a 6,000-lb maximum gross trailer weight and 600-lb maximum tongue weight, it’s ready for small trailers, bike racks, and cargo carriers. It’s a Class III receiver with a standard 2" x 2" opening, so you can use most ball mounts and accessories without special adapters. The round-tube design keeps things sturdy while still giving you good clearance under the bumper.
You don’t need a lift or a shop to get this hitch installed. It bolts directly to the frame using existing attachment points—no drilling or welding required. The precision, robotic welds ensure it lines up cleanly with factory holes for a straightforward install that can be done with basic tools in the driveway.
Built from fully welded steel, this hitch has a matte black powder coat over a protective base layer that resists rust and corrosion. The finish gives it a rugged carbide-like look that blends in well and hides dirt and scratches better than glossy finishes. It’s tough enough for year-round use and maintains that clean appearance even after plenty of miles on the road.

Whether you’re hauling a small camper, towing a utility trailer, or loading up bikes for the weekend, this hitch is built to handle it. The sturdy steel construction holds up under frequent use, and the 2" receiver opening makes it easy to swap between towing gear and accessories. It’s made to be dependable every time you hook up and head out.

It’s been closer to two years since I installed it on my 2015 Durango and it still looks great and functioning like new. Very happy with it

I agree, that DOES seem strange. However, to install the hitch you would use the existing hardware on the vehicle as outlined in the instructions. I'll link those for you.

Install looks great, Charda! I say it a lot and will continue to say it, the matte finish on our hitches looks better than the gloss finish other brands use. It just blends in better. What are you going to be using the hitch for?

I really appreciate all the details and the advice you give here, Dee. The tip about the spare tire to encouraging folks on the fence to do go for it themselves, it's all informative and helpful to the reader. :) The pictures are awesome, too! They give a realistic perspective.
