Question:
Im considering your Drawtite or Curt 1 1/4 hitch for my 2019 Outback. Which do you prefer?

I recommend the Curt # C12136 over the Draw-Tite # 36493 for your 2019 Subaru Outback. The Curt is not only made in the USA but it also is going to be much easier to use. The Curt sits more flush with your rear bumper while the Draw-Tite sits further in. This means you will have to get on the ground level to install most of your ball mounts or hitch mounted accessories.
I recommend installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56040 when you install the receiver. This will give you a 4-way flat connector which is commonly found on most small trailers you might tow. It will also allow for Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if you have hitch mounted accessories which impair the view of your tail lights.
