Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bar Installed

Benefits of an Anti-Sway System

The Roadmaster anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement what a good pair of shocks does for up-and-down motion. You will notice a marked improvement in your vehicle's stability as the bar works to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll. The anti-sway bar acts as a link between your vehicle's frame and its rear axle, using the axle as a brace to more effectively balance the shifting weight of your vehicle as you maneuver it. Lubricated bushings allow just enough pivot and rotation to compensate for the pressure placed on one side of your vehicle when it goes into sudden maneuvers, hits crosswinds or encounters shifting weights.

Roadmaster Anti-Sway Polyurethane Bushings

Superior Construction

The Roadmaster anti-sway bar is made of 4140 chromoly, a chromium and molybdenum steel alloy. This type of steel is considerably harder and stronger than the standard 1020 steel that is typically used in anti-sway applications. In addition, the larger diameter of the bar increases its torsional roll stiffness. The result is a bar that is not only stronger than the competition, but also nearly 30 percent better at resisting sway. The polyurethane bushings and grommets used at the attachment points are durable yet flexible, ensuring that the system is neither so rigid nor so malleable that it becomes ineffective.

  • Best Way to Control Sway on a 2018 Thor Motor Coach Gemini 24TX
I do have options for you to help control sway on your 2018 Thor Motor Coach Gemini 24TX but they do not make a steering stabilizer for this chassis to my knowledge. Instead, I recommend adding a rear anti-sway bar like the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar for Vans part # RM-1209-131. The rear anti-sway bar is actually going to do more for you in regards to sway control compared to a steering stabilizer. The rear anti-sway bars are also typically the most beneficial enhancement that you can...

  • Rear Anti-Sway Bar for 2013 Winnebago Class C RV On Mercedes Sprinter Chassis
If your 2013 Winnebago on the Mercedes Sprinter chassis is the 3500 chassis then you can use rear anti-sway bar # RM-1209-131. With this unit the factory sway bar will remain. If the chassis is the 2500 with the van cab the same as regular Sprinters but with a different body (this is called a cut away) then you would use # RM-1209-128. This unit replaces the factory sway bar. If the vehicle does not have a factory sway bar then you will also need mounting kit # RM-590064-00. The differences...

I have an option that addresses handling and sway in your 2018 Forest River Forester 2251 LE Chevy chasiss. However, there are no options to improve your ground clearance. I recommend the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar item # RM-1209-131. This anti-sway system mounts to the rear axle and to the frame to improve stability and handling. It is made in the USA and includes all necessary mounting hardware. I have linked an installation video below. To add support to your front end you can...

I recommend using the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs for the Front Axle # SSF-106-47 and the Rear Axle # SSR-338-47. These will help improve ride quality by adding additional support to the factory suspension on your 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 Chassis. Since the springs are progressive they will also help the shocks to reduce road vibration and shock that can cause damage to the components in your 2022 Thor Daybreak. • Are New Shocks Required When Adding Anti-Sway Bar and SumoSprings To 2013 Mercedes Sprinter 3500?
As long as the shocks on your 2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 are still in good shape, there is no reason to replace them. However if they are worn out you will notice quite a difference once the replacements are installed. We do not sell shock absorbers for vehicles so I do no have a recommendation on which ones to get, though an OEM replacement would be preferred. If you have not already decided on which sway bar and SumoSprings you plan on ordering I recommend the Roadmaster Rear...

  • Rear Sway Bar Recommendation for 2015 Mercedes Benz Sprinter Class C Chassis Pleasure Way
The difference between the two Roadmaster sway bars is the specific 2015 Mercedes Sprinter you have. The part # RM-1209-128 is for the 2500 van and cutaway models but yours is the 3500 Class C model so the rear sway bar is the part # RM-1209-131. At this time there isn't a front sway bar available, but the rear sway bar is the one that makes the biggest difference so the one I recommended would still be a great option to improve your ride quality.

  • Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bar Recommendation for a 2013 3500 Sprinter RV
The correct rear anti-sway bar for your 2013 Sprinter 3500 would be the Roadmaster Anti-Sway Bar part # RM-1209-131. You will need to remove your old sway bar before you can install this product since they utilize the same installation points. The part # RM-1209-131 that you referenced is for older model Sprinters and gets installed in conjunction with the factory bar but would not work for you since it is for older model Sprinters.

In a Class C motorhome addressing body roll/sway is a common issue. Suspension on the cutaway van chassis that most Class C's are built on is adequate with a van body on the chassis. • Anti-Sway Bars for 2020 Sprinter 3500
I reached out to my contact at Roadmaster regarding your 2020 Sprinter 3500 and he said they only carry a replacement # RM43VR Rear Anti-Sway Bar. Since this is replacing the factory anti-sway bar with a thicker and more rigid bar, it is hard to imagine it causing a problem since it goes in the same location. They do not make anything for front anti-sway or a steering stabilizer. I hope this information is helpful.

In order to minimize sway on your 2020 Wayfarer Class C, I recommend starting with the Roadmaster # RM-1209-131 since sway begins at the rear of the coach.
