The fitment videos are really helpful. The honest product review vids are great too.

We ordered this hitch for Christmas for our daughter. We had ordered the wrong style she wanted and when we went to exchange they were prompt about getting the new one out to us. They were on top of it all. The hitch hasn't been installed on the car for further review.

by:

All went well. Quick delivery and correct part.
Thanks!

Harley Davidson

I purchased a C11002 hitch for my 2010 Honda Cross Tour so I can trailer my Harley Davidson from Massachusetts to Florida and back again. The hitch was easy to install and it has worked well for me for the trip down to Florida and back to Massachusetts. I highly recommend this hitch.

zero issues, great communication from support. highly recommend etrailer and this Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" Item #C11002

owned for 1 year - mounted up to my 2014 honda crosstour without any issues at all. still going strong. using it to tow a dirtbike on a 4' x 8' trailer.

by:
Honda Crosstour

I bought the hitch so I could mount a bike rack for a tandem bicycle on a Honda Crosstour. The hitch works great for that purpose. Installation was straightforward, but removing the rubber rings to lower the exhaust was more challenging than I expected.

Trailer hitch is working great.

Performs exactly as described. Installation was easier on our 2012 Crosstour than our 2014 Crosstour.

I just passed the one year mark with my hitch and it's been FLAWLESS! I mean, perfect! I have towed a zero turn mower about 1/2 dozen times/month, furniture, etc and it's still going strong. It's tightly installed, durable and rugged. I highly recommend it!

by:

This hitch was an easy install and fit perfect as the instructions were clear and precise. The quality and finish are 5 Star! This is being used for a bike rack and is very sturdy. Thanks etrailer.

by:
Honda Crosstour

Great purchase for better half who uses the trailer hitch as a secondary bumper on his newer Honda Crosstour
Highly and enthusiastically recommend
Can self install but had a Chevy car dealer install in a couple of hours
Thanks again

2013 Honda Crosstour

Hitch came in very good condition. Wiring harness had no good instructions for the 2013 Honda Crosstour.

by:
2010 Honda Accord

Website to order was very user friendly, hitch delivery was earlier than anticipated, installation was easy. Very happy with the quality and customer service! Longevity of the build is the last part and time will tell!

by:
2015 Honda Crosstour

I asked this question about the parts received before I discovered this product review option. so I will repeat my question. I got a wire harness for a 2012 Honda Crosstour. the instruction show to put a 15 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood. There also is a small container for a fuse included in the red wire of the harness. Do I need a fuse in there also? if yes ? what size? Thanks for your help.

by:

I can sum up my thoughts simply easy, easy ,easy ! I think this hitch is built to a higher standard that is to say Robustly I have no worries as to whether it will prove capable to its intended task , and that's just Nice Ya gotta love that !

by:
2013 Honda Crosstour

Installation was straight forward and simple. Took me about two hours could have been less but I am pretty picky about doing everything perfect.

by:
2013 Honda Crosstour

This product blends very well with the existing bumper- actually looks like OEM. Plan to use this to tow a 14' dinghy trailer with about 1,000 lbs of weight.

by:
2012 Honda Crosstour

So far so good. Had it installed last night so we didn't really use it yet, but it looks good.

by:

Faster than expected delivery!

Durable, excellent product, highly recommended...trouble free!

  • Solution for Hitch Install Where Weldnut of Vehicle Frame Gets Stripped
I have to recommend you find a way to use that mounting point on your hitch. What you will need to do is find the next size up thread tap and tap the threads to the next size up and source a bolt with the matching threads so that you can secure the hitch with all of the intended holes. If you do not use all of the mounting points of the hitch the warranty would be voided regardless of how you plan to use the hitch.

  • Installing Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on 2013 Honda Crosstour
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11002 that you purchased is a direct fit for your 2013 Honda Crosstour. The M10 bolts likely won't fit because there is rust and corrosion built up in the open holes and the weld nuts in the frame. Using lubricant and a wire brush usual solves the problem. I've linked an article on cleaning weld nuts for you as well.

  • Correct Trailer Hitch for a 2011 Honda Crosstour
The Honda Crosstour is part of the Accord family and we do have a trailer hitch option for the 2011 model. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11002 which is a bolt-on fit. It has a class I rating with 1-1/4" receiver tube opening.

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver Tube Location on 2015 Honda Crosstour
All of the 1-1/4-inch Class I trailer hitches we offer for your 2015 Honda Crosstour will install in essentially identical spots on the vehicle. The linked page will display all available hitch models. I checked with my contact at Hidden Hitch and Draw-Tite about the position of their hitch's receiver tube after its installed. The end of the receiver tube will extend out past the bumper cover by approximately 2-1/2-inches, even without the ball mount installed. This receiver tube location...

  • Solution for Stripped Weld Nut When Installing Trailer Hitch
If you can access an open end of the frame where the weld nut broke off you could fishwire a new carriage bolt in place of the weldnut. Otherwise you may have to weld the hitch on or see if a local garage like you mentioned could come up with a way to re-weld in a weld nut. For a bolt leader you could then use the # C58400. I attached a link to an install video that at the 1:30 mark shows how to fishwire hitch hardware. You will need to drill out the old weld nut.

  • Hitch Recommendation for a 2015 Honda Crosstour
Yes, the Curt Hitch part # C11002 that you referenced has been confirmed to fit your 2015 Honda Crosstour so it would work well for you. If you are looking for a bike rack I would recommend the Swagman XTC2 part # S64670. This rack has a ton of features and is at a great price. Our customers have left a ton of positive reviews for this rack as well. Check out the review video I attached.

  • Class I Platform Bike Rack that Can Fit Curt Hitch of 2010 Honda Accord

  • Best Hitch For 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour For A Bike Rack
The Curt Hitch part # C11002 is a custom fit for your 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour and it is your best option for the use of a bike rack. The Curt Hitch gives you a little over 3 inches more ground clearance then the Draw-Tite version for this vehicle so the bike rack is less likely to drag the ground if you are ever in a low ground clearance situation. I recommend the Class I compatible Thule Helium Pro 2 part # TH9042PRO for your Class I hitch because it only weighs 19 lbs so it is very...

  • Can I Remove My Spare Tire With Hitch Receiver Installed
The crossbar on both the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 24852 and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11002 are bowed outward towards the rear of your 2013 Honda Accord Crosstour to allow for removal of the spare tire while installed. This is further explained at the :20 second mark in the attached video. All of the hitches available for your 2011 Honda Accord 4-Door Sedan are a Class I 1-1/4 inch size. You will want to make sure the bike rack you use is designed to fit a Class I 1-1/4 inch hitch. A Class I hitch will only accept Class I rated accessories. I am including a link to a FAQ page on hitch sizes and different class ratings. It will describe the difference in the Class I rated hitch. • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2012 Honda Accord Crosstour
On all of the trailer hitches for the 2012 Honda Accord Crosstour, the cross member is going to be visible below the rear fascia. That does include the Curt hitch # 11002 as you can see in the picture I have provided. What I recommend is Draw-Tite hitch, # 24852, which is great if you will be using the hitch with an accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier but can also be used for towing if your vehicle is rated for it. The recommended ball mount is # 3590 and you can use 1-7/8 inch...

  • Can I Use My Older Thule Vertex XT Bike Rack With Curt Hitch On 2013 Honda Crosstour
The Curt Hitch part # C11002 and Draw-Tite part # 24852 that fits the 2013 Honda Crosstour are both Class I hitches so the Vertex would need to be class I compatible for it to fit. Thule no longer produces the Vertex bike racks but there were a few different versions of the Vertex in production at one time. The Thule Vertex 2-bike rack part number 9028XT is compatible with your Class I hitch along with the 4 bike rack version which was part number 9029XT. However, if your Vertex is the...

  • Recommendation for a 2013 Honda Crosstour to Allow Use of Yakima 4-Bike Hitch Rack
The hitches offered for your 2013 Honda Crosstour are limited to the light-duty Class I variety, one of which is the Curt # C11002. A Class I hitch bike rack - any of them - is limited to carrying 2 bikes and no more. An adapter will not help in this instance; use of ANY hitch adapter has the unfortunate side-effect of reducing the hitch's capacity by 50-percent. This would mean your 200-lb-rated hitch suddenly drops to a 100-lb rating, which is not nearly enough for the weight of a rack...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2012 Honda Accord Crosstour
I do have 1 trailer hitch that is listed as a fit for your 2012 Honda Accord Crosstour. Take a look at the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 24852. Draw-Tite does list this hitch as fitting the 2012 models. If you plan on doing some towing, the correct ball mount is # 3590 and you can use pin and clip # PC2. For a ball, use # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). For trailer wiring use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118500. All of the trailer hitches for the 2014 Honda Crosstour are Class I, 1-1/4 inch hitches. Manufacturers do not make a 2 inch hitch for your vehicle. Like you said there are adapters, # HTAD.
