Expert Reply:
The Cur 1-1/4" hitch # C11002 and the EcoHitch 2" # 306-X7299 are both custom fit trailer hitches confirmed to work with your 2014 Honda Crosstour EL-X.
I recommend the EcoHitch # 306-X7299 because it has a higher tongue weight capacity of 525 pounds verses the 200 pounds of the Curt and with the 2" receiver opening, you have many more options for accessories. The downside of the EcoHitch is that it is more expensive than the Curt and much more difficult to install.
Then for a bike rack to transport your two Electra Cruisers, I recommend the Swagman Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack # S64683. This is a great, platform style carrier that can hold 2 bikes of up to 45 pounds each. My research shows that your bikes are less than 40 pounds each so this would work for you. It features sliding cradles with ratcheting straps that can easily adjust to support bikes of different lengths. The center mast can tilt down, with the bikes still loaded, for easy rear cargo access on your vehicle and locks are included to secure your valuables. This rack will work with either hitch.
I have attached a video demonstration of this bike rack for you to review.
