Question:
My Crosstour barely fits in the garage How far do the various hitches stick out past the bumper without the tongue?
asked by: Joe Z
Expert Reply:
All of the 1-1/4-inch Class I trailer hitches we offer for your 2015 Honda Crosstour will install in essentially identical spots on the vehicle. The linked page will display all available hitch models.
I checked with my contact at EcoHitch and Curt about the position of their hitch's receiver tube after its installed. The end of the receiver tube will extend out past the bumper cover by approximately 2-1/2-inches, even without the ball mount installed. This receiver tube location is a function of the car's available hitch mounting points and it will be essentially the same for any hitch made for the car.
