Chains are of good quality,Because they fit so many vehicles some alterations are required but these are very simple fixes.Shipping is fast.
Saved my @$$ last year from being stuck out on the lake ice fishing! Almost had to make an embarrassing call in to get some kind of vehicle with tracks on it to pull me through a monstrous slush hole. Dug down around the tires, wrapped the chains on and turned my truck into a beast!!! Highly recommend if your venturing off the beatin path!

Easy to put on and good fit for tires
Chains arrived promptly and were of good quality
My spare tire is mounted on a Roadmaster tire carrier (from etrailer) which attaches to the trailer hitch; excellent piece of hardware. That made trial fitting easy. BTW, my '85 F-250 Ford now has a 38 gallon gas tank where the spare tire used to be.
I mark with red paint the outside of the chain to make it easier to see to install. The chains did not come with tie backs so I made some from stainless steel wire. The spring steel tensioners are superior in my opinion to the rubber ones, especially in freezing weather.
Even though the truck is 4x4 with snow tires the law in my state and elsewhere mandates carrying tire chains anyway.
Here is a big tip: when using chains try to drive on the snow, ice or gravel so that wear and tear on the chains is less...and stay under 30 mph.
This is a good product. My only issue is that I have a 2019 ranger. On the front wheels, there is not enough clearance for these (or possibly even cables) chains. They have a suspension bar that is about 1/4 in from the tires. So these chains will bind into that space the moment you move.
They work well on the rear.

Snow conditions have been mild and Ive not had to use the product.
5 stars for having the product I need and fast delivery before my 2 week trip!! I have the chains just in case and actually hope I don't need them! A true flatlander!!!!
I bought these chains based on etrailer videos and [online] videos of others using the Titan Vbar chains. I can tell you that these chains are super aggressive. They got me through 8” or more of semi melted and tracked up snow. I did struggle with traction on the front end, but didn’t have chains on the front wheels. In my Tacoma, I would say I was pushing the limit with snow depth. Pucker factor was pretty high as culverts we’re waiting for my mistakes. Type and condition of snow means everything. These chains are tiptop. What isn’t tiptop is the website vehicle search. I provide my year, make and model and they said the chains would work. They do not fit my tires. They are too big. That being said, I still made them work. They were super tight. Due yourself the favor and double check your tire size. You will be hard pressed to find a more aggressive chain. Love them!

These are great chains. I bought them because I have used this style before and love how easy they are to put on without climbing under the truck.
Last year was a dry winter and I never used them so I cant say anything about these specific chains except they are easy to put on. I practice every winter to make sure I have everything needed. I also bought the tightener, that thing that looks like a big spider, to go with these chains. The two work well together.
The chains come in a bag. I dont think it will hold up. My tires are big and these chains are heavy. I will probably get a plastic box to hold the chains since this is expected to be a wet winter and I will be in the mountains more this year.
I bought a full set of 4 of these chains last year for my Duramax in case I needed them when we go snowmobiling up in the mountains. As luck would have it, I got badly stuck (with snowmobile trailer in tow no less!) in some pretty deep snow because the plows couldnt keep up with the snowfall we were having at the time. I ended up jacking each wheel up, installing the chains underneath of each wheel and the truck literally drove right out of the predicament like nothing. It was such a huge relief to have the chains with us...the tow bill alone would have far exceeded what I paid for the chains, so basically they've already paid for themselves! Very high quality, well packaged and they fit right.
Have used tire chains for over 50 years. Took a chance on buying these for a new SUV despite misgivings over the large range of tires these are supposed to work with. Both as experienced user and retired design engineer, the range of tire sizes didn't make sense.
Do they "fit". i.e. can they be installed, yes. Will they stay in place with use of proper placement and tensioners? Not above 10 mph. Writing these off as a bad investment and will design and build a set of custom chains that work.

We just finished two years of full-time travel around the US. I bought two sets of chains and they fit snuggly, as expected, on my LT 275/65 R18 tires. I also bought two types of chain binders to keep them tight and positioned correctly in different conditions. So, that's 4 chain & spring binders AND 4 rubber binders ... just in case. I mounted them all to test the fit and practice my skills and drove 4 mi. on a dirt road. All went well. As we zig zag around the US it's a smart move to carry these chains and binders with us. Many states in the west have highways and roads that mandate use of chains. I'm glad I didn't need to use them last year but I'm confident we're ready if need be. We didnt need to use the chains this past year. Were heading west to higher elevations again this year and I know that these chains will insure that our travels are much safer!

Excellent chains. Used them extensively this last November getting up and down a snowed over road and snow/iced over rocky trail up the mountain in CO. They didn’t break on the rocks and got great traction on ice, got me out of several miles of 3ft of snow with ice underneath. I highly recommend the steel spring chain tensions. When properly installed you can get these chains nice and tight. I can only run chains on my rear tires due to upper control arm clearance issues (‘08 Tacoma) so I’m giving my second pair to my brother (‘12 f150) for his rear tires.

Chains are still going strong, I make sure the wash and dry them after each season. Would definitely buy again and I definitely recommend the metal spring tensioners.

Very nice product, installed fairly easily. Purchased them as chains are required going thru the Vail Pass in Colorado thru the end of May but hopefully won't have to put them on.
Great product works as described. Keeps us going in the snow back country roads Utah.

I’m impressed. These tire chains are the real deal. I looked at various options online, Amazon, etc. I found etrailer. First, the web page is packed with info, tutorials, etc. once I ordered there was continuous communication. I downgraded from a 4x4 to a 4x2, and drive up to Buffalo, NY, from coastal Carolina. These chains are impressive and will provide traction and ease of mind going through the snow belt areas along Lake Erie and parts of the blue ridge mountains. I’ve hit heavy snow on this trip and wished I had a good tire chain. This resolved it. Installing is a breeze be sure to get the tire chain adjusters with them! Excellent service!
These chains are well built. My 1 ton truck was in 6” deep snow when I chained up. The truck was able to tractor right up A steep hill. The binder is stout steel, not a stamped piece prone to bending. I used rubber tensioners. The combo worked great. All of my use has been off pavement this far. I bought two sets and would do it again.
Heavy duty well made. I bought these because I got my 37 foot travel trailer stuck in the mud and needed to push it uphill in reverse. After 3 failed attempts I ordered these and easily had enough traction to move a 10,000 lbs trailer. Very good quality.
The chains I ordered were delivered on the date promised. They were well packaged and undamaged. These chains are for the front axle of my 4WD tractor. The tractor has R4 tires that are worthless in snow, and I think these chains will vastly improve my traction. I installed the chains and with some adjustment they are just right size wise. I will test them when we get the next snow that needs to be plowed. Excellent transaction and product from etrailer.
