Each arm slides into the base plate receiver, twists to lock, and secures with the included pull pin. The distance between brackets is 22" with a bracket height of 18", so it’s simple to plan your setup for level towing.
This base plate bolts directly to your vehicle’s chassis with no welding required. The sturdy steel design spreads towing force evenly to reduce stress on suspension components during travel. Already have a tow bar setup you like? You’re covered. This base plate works directly with Demco, etrailer, and Blue Ox tow bars—no adapter needed. If you’re using a Roadmaster bar, just add the matching adapter (e98983, e98984, e98979, or e98981—sold separately). An included electrical bracket lets you mount a round plug neatly at the front so your wiring connection stays organized and ready to use.
