When the road turns slick or the hill gets steep, the V-bar studs on these chains dig in hard to keep you moving. Every link is made from 0.218" (5.5 mm) low-carbon steel for strength and long wear life. Everything arrived quickly and in good condition. Have not yet needed to use the chains but they look like they will be good.
Quick service, heavy duty chains
Rarely use chains but these work great. Got stuck in a snow storm in Flagstaff early March. There was about 18 inches of snow over rutted ice. While you do have to commit to putting these on and you will be wet and/or dirty, there will be no issue getting through. The cam system works great at achieving a good fit the first setting but the second setting leaves no question they're in place to stay. We have a RWD E350 with 285/75/R16's and drove by many 4x4 vehicles that couldn't get out of the rutted ice and compacted snow. The V bars really cut in for that extra traction. Can't recommend enough if you need that extra performance in extreme conditions.

Great set of chains for the price, fitted them on the new truck and they fit nice and tight with plenty of room for adjustments. Haven't used these yet on ice but I have the same set but smaller for my Yukon and they worked great. The V bar bites down well with only mild ride change. I have these for trips to Tahoe and keep them in the truck as a "just in case". Hopefully I won't have to pull them out but if I do I know this pattern works well and will get me home.
Great traction on compact snow and ice. I would not want to drive more than 10mph on gravel or concrete. Off road recommended.
Have not towed with it yet. However I will be using in next week towing a car dolly on a 3,000 mile round trip. Not a real test of this product because it's superbly built. Well worth the price.

I purchased these chains for a trip west where I was going through the mountains. I never needed them and they are still in the bag. Having the chains with me gave the peace of mind not knowing the roads ahead.
These are heavy duty as I hoped. Literally heavy, as each chain weighs 22 pounds. TC3829CAM fits on stock Jeep Gladiator tires.
2 words, Heavy Duty. I haven't gotten to use them yet and hope I never will. But preparing for a hunt, I knew I better have some that fit my truck. I have had chains for all of my rigs before and no stranger to having to chain up. And these appear like they will not disappoint should I have to throw iron.
The tire chains look great and fit nicely. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that no storage box is included.
I installed the chains and my truck to discover that they are at least three links too long. I have the correct size according to the bag they came in. So I guess I will saw off the additional links. These chains don't look as heavy as I hoped and they are made in China.
The service was exceptional. ordered on Monday and the were delivered to Maine on Thursday. Very prompt. As far as fit, I can't tell you yet. I ordered the correct size for my tires, so I assume they are ok. I will try them on before it snows. I really like the way you track your product. Granted, I have not actually tried these chains out on the snow/ice yet. I have put the chains on my tires to check for fit and to see how easy or difficult they would be when the time comes, and they fit great and went on very easily. With the cam system I was able to tighten the chains very snug to the tire and without the need of bungee cords, bc there was no slack in the chains. Chains look to be made from great material....exactly what I was needing!
I do snow plowing with a 1 ton truck. These Titan Chains allow me to plow deep snow up grades and even when there is a thick layer of ice under the snow. The V grips really dig into the snow, ice and gravel. On paved and cement surfaces they will scar the surface, but under adverse conditions they get the job done!
Bought and installed on old 1978 Chevy 4x4 Camper Special for Montana winters. 4x4 needs added traction traveling off property in Kootenai Mountains. This old pick-up is used to get supplies and haul firewood. Chains were an enormous aid in Snow, Ice, and Mud that make traveling sometimes treacherous. These chains are superior to old ones; and truly seize the road. Love 4 Wheeling.
I just received the chains. etrailer was very helpful over the phone helping me select chains that were right for my truck, and the right for the type of terrain I am going to use them on. Shipping was quick, I did 5-7 day and they moved it to 3-5 for free. The chains fit my truck really well. I have not tried them off the road yet, but they look very aggressive so not concerned. They are really east to install, took me less than 5 minutes and you can put them on without actually moving the truck. This is also a plus.
I like the chains very much. Excellent design. Easy to install and with the cam tighteners they didn’t loosen up. I recently delivered lumber on an ice covered dirt road (very steep hill!) and never spun a wheel.

I have used chains in the past without tightening cams and aways struggled with getting the chain tight enough.
These chains with the cams are a joy to use. The went on easily and tightened up with out a problem.
I used these chains with all weather tires and had no difficulties while plowing 18 inches of heavy wet snow. Prior to using the chains I was getting stuck in the same snow.
We'll worth the money and etrailer provided great service.

Excellent!
I wish I had a trailer, because this retailer rocks! I needed tire chains for my 2012 Nissan Titan so I began my search online through my local tire stores and auto parts sellers. I figured I could simply enter my tire size and quickly find the correct tire chains. No. Not one of the six or seven websites I tried made it that easy. They wanted vehicle brand, model, engine size, trim package…nonsense. I happened onto etrailer.com, they had the full compliment of Titan brand chains and in less than a minute I entered my tire size, chose the ladder pattern with v-bar link and got my chains ordered. All that AND at the best price of any other Titan retailer. After I ordered I received a kind response from an actual person. Three days later I received my tire chains via UPS. I then got another kind response from the same actual person. Good old-fashioned service. Real service! Like going back in time. I’ll look closely at etrailer.com when I have some time to see if they’ve got anything else I need now or down the road. Like I said, wish I had a trailer! My sincerest thanks.

This is great to hear! I am glad you stumbled upon our page and were able to find just what you needed quickly. I know how annoying it can be looking all over and not finding what you need easily, it can be stressful that's for sure. We have just about anything you can think of so I am sure we have something! Only needed the tire chains a couple times. But those times I really needed them. They preformed better than expected.
