The Kenda K353 Bias Trailer Tire is made for dependable strength in a compact size. Rated Load Range C with a 6-ply construction, it carries up to 990 lbs at 90 psi when mounted on a 12" x 4" rim. It exceeds Department of Transportation standards, giving confidence for consistent performance when loaded down or covering long distances.
This tire’s bias-ply design uses thick, durable nylon cords laid at a 30-45° angle in alternating layers. The crisscross pattern stiffens the sidewalls so the entire tire flexes as one piece. That means better handling and a smoother ride when traveling over uneven ground or rough terrain.
Designed for off-road and agricultural applications, the K353’s sturdy tread and reinforced body hold up where softer tires give out. It’s tough enough for dirt, gravel, grass, or field work where traction and durability matter most.
Every Kenda K353 comes with a 5-year limited warranty plus a 1-year worry-free guarantee—if it’s damaged in the first 12 months, it’s replaced at no charge. That kind of coverage shows the manufacturer stands behind its quality from day one.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

We do recommend to inflate trailer tires to their max PSI to prevent heat build up which is the leading cause of blow outs. The only brand that is designed to be used with a lower PSI per load weight is the Goodyear Brand.

It really sounds like it was tough time to install the tire. When these bias ply tires are shipped they are bundled together which can cause them to seem like the are misshapped. No worries if it happens as often tire shops can mount them with no problems.

Tires are still working well after a year of light service.
