Updated 04/15/2026 | Published 04/09/2026

Question:

Hi, Im trying to install a new old-stock Curt 11212 hitch on a Honda S2000 - but the hardware kit is missing I see your item RHK , any chance you can reproduce this hardware kit for me? Looks like a bit of a challenging install re: fishing hardware through access holes, and 2 carriage-bolt-accepting spacers. Many thanks for your help!

I sure can Mandy! The Replacement Hardware Kit item # RHK is exactly what you'll need to replace the carriage bolts, spacers, fishwire tool, nuts, and washers on your Curt 11212 hitch.

You will want to go to the item # RHK product page and on the right hand side where it says Hitch Item Number you'll need to insert 11212. With this hardware you'll be able to install the Curt 11212 hitch on your Honda S2000.

What do you plan on using your new hitch for?

I used the kit to move my hitch from a 2011 Impala to a 2013 Impala, It worked great and made it easy to do. You have to have the kit because it is not possible to remove the parts that go inside the frame to the other car. The cables to thread the bolts through the frame work fantastic! Don't know how else you could get those bolts in place without them. Make sure you have the bracket that goes inside the frame on the cable with the bolt in the correct position!!! I highly recommend you watch the video on etrailer website as it is very informative. I did use a ATV hydraulic jack to hold the hitch in place while I bolted it up. The wiring harness that is sold on the website works great and is easy to install too. I moved it to the other car too. Hopes this helps.
