1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

I am going on a long road trip and needed a spare tire for my trailer. This is the exact size I need and within a couple bucks of the cheapest price I could find any where online. etrailer.com also emailed me to notify me they were upgrading shipping for this heavy item at no extra charge and I received it in three business days. Delivered quickly. Unimpressed with quality of the rim. Metal surface far from smooth… looks like no QC.
Worked like a champ, although I had to add a spacer in order for the tire to clear the winch assembly but other than that it works great, the tire even acts as a convenient step for climbing into the front of the boat during launching into the water.
Bought to use as a spare on my boat trailer. I did have an opportunity to use it last Fall, and it pulled quite nice. Even though it didn’t match the tread or wear on the tire on the opposite side, it worked great. Seemed to hold pressure over the winter without any issues, no cracking or rot that is visible

I have been using the tire as a spare for my boat trailer. I actually had to use it once. No issues with tire or rim. It holds air well two years later

I was surprised when I opened the boxes to find that the rims had a lot of galvanized checking and buildup. They were not clean. The rims even had dirt splatter and the holes for the lugs had galvanized fill. This is not what I had received in the past. Not happy with the rims but the tires seem to be good.
Tires and rims are exactly what I expected, great quality. While some folks have commented about the rims finish to me it's not a big deal, anything dipped to galvanize will show a small amount of running. Customer service was top notch, I received emails when the item shipped and was due to arrive, which was earlier than expected. I will definitely be ordering from etrailer again.
I would have returned it if it wasn’t so much trouble. The “galvanized” wheel was lousy Chinese manufacturing at its finest. It looks like the wheel was dipped into galvanized material but not properly drained. So there is a big build up of the material at the bottom of the wheel in the front and back. The wheel looks terrible and is barely usable. I do not recommend this product.
ETRAILER did a great job of getting my spare tire to me in time for a planned trip to pick up my new boat trailer and the galvanized wheel has a very good galvanized coating on it, it doesn't match exactly the chrome wheels on the trailer but it will do for a spare tire. The tire arrived with the recommended tire pressure so it was ready to go and it did not come packed in a box which I would have had to cut up and stuff in my recycle bin.

Needed a spare tire for my boat trailer. I could'nt have been more pleased with my order from etrailer. I received an email after my order was placed. Another when it shipped with info on tracking my order (very cool tracking map, by the way) and finally an email literally minutes after the tire was delivered. These people have there stuff together. I would not hesitate to oder again from them. In fact, I may soon to replace the current tires on the trailer.

I needed this tire fast since I was heading out to pick up a trailer with a expensive cargo 200 miles away in a few days. The package arrived on time, as promised and well boxed like the 8 prior tire/rim combos I have ordered in the past. No drama, just showed up at a fair price. To top it off, the brand new trailer I picked up had one OEM tire with a bad valve stem that leaked down to 20 psi and caused a hot tire, having this spare saved me a whole lot of roadside drama. Super pleased by etrailer as always.
This is spare, it hasn't rolled yet. Hopefully I won't need it! But it is a nice galvanized finish to keep it from getting rusty while I cart it around.
I ordered these wheels and tires to replace the ones on my boat trailer that have seen there better days after salt water exposure. The quality looks to be very good and they fit perfectly.

My wheel and tire were back ordered a few days but etrailer customer service staff kept me 100% up to date on my order's time frame and even offered to substitute similar items if I was in a rush situation. I was not, so I waited. Constant email contact continued including notice that my item was delivered. BRAVO to etrailer Customer Service (Bridget and George J.)
I am very pleased with this combo as they arrived fully inflated and the galvanizing is 100% and should last a long time. These are my spare wheel/tire but I would be absolutely happy having them as my primary; probably will order 4 more of these when I need to replace the 4 primary. The unit looks pretty sweet on my aluminium trailer.
Unfortunately I was not able to source my spare tire mount from etrailer as I have 5.25" aluminium frame rails. Upon receipt of my mount I did not like my original intended frame rail position so I ended up mounting behind my jack; etrailer has mounts that would have worked for me. The clearance between frame rail and tire is tight. I will eventually move jack 2" fwd, and move spare 2" fwd as well. I suggest going to Fastenal Store and upgrading the grade mounting bolts - I went from grade 5 suggested to grade 6 for peace of mind. After 100 miles re-torque your mounting bolts and add witness marks.

I never needed to move jack forward as originally planned to do as above. Looks great, no sign of corrosion or rust to any components, no loss of air pressure, still 100 perfectly mounted and all bolts are tight as originally torqued. The unit does not flex or bounce when under way. About 1000 miles towed since installed. Very pleased 100 recommended.
