Long trips and heavy hauls call for a tire that can keep pace. The Kenda Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13" Galvanized Wheel delivers an 8-ply, Load Range D rating with a maximum load of 1,610 lbs at 65 psi and an M speed rating of 81 mph. The assembly meets Department of Transportation specifications, so you can run confidently at highway speeds with dependable strength mile after mile.
Saltwater exposure and road grime won’t slow this wheel down. The 13" x 4-1/2" steel wheel features a corrosion-resistant galvanized finish that holds up in wet or humid environments. Its 8-spoke design combines durability with a clean look that stays solid through seasons of use.
This bias tire uses thick nylon cords set at a 30- to 45-degree angle in alternating layers, creating a tough crisscross structure that makes the sidewalls stiffer. The result is better stability and smooth handling when trailering on uneven ground. It’s built to flex as one unit, keeping your load steady even on rough surfaces.
Everything here is matched for proper performance — the tire’s 1,610-lb capacity lines up with the wheel’s 1,660-lb rating for balanced strength across the setup. The zero offset keeps the load centered over the hub, while the common 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern and 1/2"-20 studs make for straightforward fitment when swapping wheels.
The Loadstar combo carries a 5-year limited tire warranty, a limited 2-year wheel warranty, and a 1-year worry-free guarantee that replaces the tire at no charge if it’s damaged within the first year. It’s extra assurance that your setup is ready for miles of reliable towing ahead.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Galvanized rims are still totally galvanized after saltwater in Baja. Tires still look good. Will buy again from E Trailer instead of my local FE Trailer that is way more expensive.
