Question:

I am looking to get different tires and fenders for my boat trailer. I have chosen 175/80-13 load range D tires. I am looking at plastic fenders and not sure which one to go with. How do I know what the proper width and height to go with? For instance, how would i know to get the 10 inch wide x 10 1/4 tall vs the 9 inch tall and 12 inches tall? If it is helpful here is the item number for the tire I have selected, AM31242. Thank You

For a 13 inch wheel and tire like the part # AM31242 that you referenced. The Fulton single axle trailer fender part # F008583 that you also mentioned would work well as it was designed for the tire diameter that you are going to go with. I attached a picture that shows this fender installed on a boat trailer with a similar tire size as what you have.

If you need mounting brackets as well you'd then want the part # CE26061G-2 for a set for each side of the trailer.
