Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement number 3984 trailer hub bearing. Now this is a replacement inner tapered roller bearing. It is designed to fit the 12,000 to 15,000 pound axles, and it is designed for high speed use. Now the bearings will always be stamped with the industry standard part number. On this one we mentioned, you can see right here it is stamped 3984.
Now this bearing will ride in a bearing race, which will be pre-installed in the hub. That bearing race we do sell separately. It goes by a part number of 3920. Now the most critical measurement on this bearing is gonna be the inner diameter, which is this portion right here. The inner diameter on this is point or 2.625 inches.
This is a stamped steel construction. Now when this is installed on the spindle, it's gonna be lubricated with either wheel bearing grease or oil. But that's gonna do it for a look at this replacement number 3984 trailer hub bearing.
