Nothing ruins a trailer faster than rusted-out suspension parts. This 5-leaf double-eye spring has a tough Dacromet coating that stands up to 700 hours of salt-spray exposure. It’s built for trailers that see water, road salt, or just a lot of miles in bad weather. The coating shields the 3/8"-thick steel leaves from corrosion so they last longer and stay strong, saving you from constant repainting or early replacements.
When you’re towing heavy, stability matters. Each spring has a 3,000-lb capacity, giving you a total of 6,000 lbs per axle. At 25-1/4" from eye to eye and 1-3/4" wide, it’s sized right to keep the suspension geometry true. The five-leaf stack smooths out bumps and helps keep the trailer tracking level when loaded down, cutting down on bounce and sway on rough pavement or gravel.
This spring mounts directly to existing hangers using standard 9/16" bolts. The double-eye design uses pressed-in nylon bushings that let the spring pivot freely without squeaks or metal-on-metal wear. The solid steel build and precisely formed eyes hold alignment under load, keeping your suspension working the way it should mile after mile.
Old springs flatten out and lose their shape over time. Swapping in a fresh set restores ride height and suspension performance right away. Replace them in pairs to keep both sides even and the axle centered. With the right measurements and these specs—25-1/4" eye-to-eye, 9/16" with bushing, 11/16" without—you can get your trailer back to hauling straight and smooth with confidence.

2009 Cedar Creek, The previous owner had new axles installed in 2014 with wet bolts and equa-flex . The springs had flattened out because of age so finding the right length was hard. One call to etrailer helped with this, I ordered the upgrade shackles with wet bolts. I was surprised by the quality and thickness of the shackles! Installation went well about 3 1/2 hours. I found that the previous owner used nylon bushings instead of brass one. They had worn thru but the brass ones on the equa-flex were like new.
Items fit perfectly. Shipping time was great and communication was very good and helpful.
