Question:
Hello, I have a 2006 Keystone Raptor 3712TS triple axle trailer. I noticed recently that my shackles were starting to wear and leaf springs were sagging, so I want to replace everything. Being an older trailer its been tough to find info on what I may need on the forums. Id like to switch to a wetbolt system and switch over to an updated equalizer from either Morryde or Ez Flex. My current Equalizer is 5 3/4 inch center to center. My current shackles are 2 1/2 inch center to center, 3 1/2 inch overall Where I am running into trouble is that on my triple axle setup, there is an equalizer in place that looks odd to me and I cannot seem to find an updated replacement that would match the newer systems from Morryde or Ez Flex. I have attached a picture of the different shaped equalizer. This one is located between the first and second wheel on the trailer, where the normal looking equalizer is between the second and third wheel. Can you advise what that is and a link to an updated replacement? Now for the leaf spring situation... I have not been able to round up a 5 ton jack to get the wheel far enough off the ground so I can measure the leaf unloaded, BUT it is a 4 pack spring with the following ID: EMCO HB05 93115 My axle has an ID plate reading: MOD T52 3 SLP 373 MM 5200 lbs. Searching the interwebs I have only been able to locate a pdf file from The universal group showing that that my leaf spring # matches there part # UNA-221 with a free length of 25.13. If you could please send me info on a shackle upgrade kit, upgraded equalizer kit, and a leaf spring that coincides with my part number I would greatly appreciate it!! Thank you

It can be difficult to locate information when it comes to suspension components for any trailer, but since you were able to give me ample information about your 2006 Keystone Raptor 3712TS triple axle trailer I have a solution for you!
I recommend using the E-Z Flex Triple Suspension System Kit # K71-656-00 as an upgrade to your current suspension system. This has equalizers that measure 5-5/8" center-eye to center-eye and comes with shackles that measure 2-1/4" center-eye to center-eye. This means this will be about 3/8" shorter than what you currently have but the difference will be on each end so it actually reduces that in half. If you notice in the product pictures for this kit 2 of the equalizers have that same open-end design like you are seeing on your current equalizer.
We do carry the leaf spring # e78SR on our site. It has a length of 25-1/4". The 5-leaf spring will still work for your application, it will just slightly raise the height of your trailer due to the extra leaf.
No matter which leaf spring you choose to use, when you couple it with the E-Z Flex system mentioned above it gives you a great upgrade to your current suspension system. I have attached an installation video of the E-Z Flex system for you to reference as well as review videos for both leaf springs.
