When your axle doesn’t sit square or shifts under load, it can throw the whole suspension out of line. This spring seat welds onto a 3" diameter round axle—typical for 5,200-lb to 7,200-lb setups—to give the leaf spring a solid, repeatable mounting point. The cutout on the flat side locks around the raised knob on the spring to keep it from twisting or sliding, so the axle stays planted and tracks true.
Getting the right match between the axle and spring width makes a big difference in how your trailer rides. This seat is built to work with standard 1-3/4" or 2" wide leaf springs, giving you the flexibility to line everything up the way it should be whether you’re setting up a new axle or replacing worn perches.
When you’re running heavier gear or covering long miles, the spring seat has to take the stress without deforming. This TruRyde seat is made to handle the demands of axles in the 5,200- to 7,200-lb range and measures 4" long by 1-7/8" wide. The centered 1/2" bolt hole keeps the alignment reliable, and the radius fits the axle perfectly for a clean weld and strong hold.
Each axle needs two spring seats—one for each side—to keep the leaf springs square and balanced. Weld them in place, bolt up your U-bolt kit, and you’ve got a solid foundation ready for thousands of miles of steady towing.

Just what I needed. Good quality with fast shipping.
I could not figure out how but, when I ordered axel it was set at 74” c to c mine needed to be 70” c to center. I may need 2 more axels if I do how can it be made 70” c to c .
I am using two second hand axles for my trailer and the spring seats were in the wrong place. They were hard to find because I didn't know what to call them, but I was really grateful they were available. They will complete the installation of the axles and are sturdy and cut perfectly.
Just what I needed for my project and at a fair price! Shipping was fast.

So far so good
The seats were just what I needed Last year I moved the trailer
springs from the bottom of the axel to the top when I did I had
to turn the axel end to end it caused the trailer to wear tires out .
brakes to wear out .I am turning axel back and welding new seats
leaving hubs running right. Back to factory only on top of axel.

The axles that I ordered last year are still working out great. But even better than the parts was the service I got from etrailer. It was so great working with a company who took the time to listen to my project and help me get the right parts I needed, especially coming right off the heels of a terrible experience dealing with bad information and wrong parts from a competitor. I replaced my leaf springs, drums, brakes and added the Dexter E-Z Suspension kit to my Keystone Cougar Fifth Wheel trailer last year. This was my first time working with etrailer and I can’t say enough about how well it all went from the ordering to the install.

Worked perfectly. Easy to weld on
Products were as advertised, worked well and installation went as planned. Accomplished task - moved under hung leaf springs to over axle (tandem drop) on older horse trailer, to regain bumper clearance - new truck sits higher than old, also allowed extended goose neck to eliminate tail gate damage, while leveling trailer (nose no longer stuck in air). I would purchase again without hesitation.

This is the second trailer I've used these for. They made it easy to convert to a spring over axle configuration.
These saved my bacon as my trailer didn't match any axles you stock.
The axle and spring seat are doing well after a year. Even with my shade-tree mechanic welding abilities and thousands of grueling miles thru some of the roughest highways in North America (namely West Virginia) both are holding up to the task.
