Question:
I have a 2020 Grand Design Reflection RLTS315 travel trailer. I want to replace just the beam on one of the axles. My parts list says it is a Dexter axle 7743926. Can you tell me what part number it would be for just the beam? Thanks

Hi Gina; from what I was able to find that is an 86-1/2" long 5,200 lb axle. For a replacement you can use the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles # 8327816. However, this axle has a spring center measurement of 71-1/2" and it looks like yours is 68-1/2". You can verify this by looking at the axle tag, the measurement will look like "SC=68.50." Assuming that is correct, you will have to cut off the spring seats and weld on # TRSS300 to match your current measurement.
What happened to your axle?

Sorry, I missed your question. Our axle flattened out, no idea why. We have not run over anything except the usual bad roads. The local repair shop is saying it would be cheaper to replace only the beam, but they are quoting over $600 to do so,for just the parts.

So you do not carry an axle beam that would be an exact fit? Thanks!
