A balanced trailer rides smoother and tracks straighter. This kit includes (2) 1-1/2" tall front hangers and (2) 7/8" tall rear hangers with steel bushings, giving your double-eye springs a solid mounting point and proper geometry. It works with single axles rated from 2,000 lb to 7,000 lb, achieving about 4-1/4" to 4-1/2" clearance between the trailer frame and the axle depending on axle size. That setup helps maintain correct ride height and reduces sway while towing.
Each kit comes ready with (4) 3-1/8" long shackle straps, (6) 3" x 9/16" diameter shackle bolts, and (6) 9/16" diameter locknuts. The shackle straps bolt to the outside of the rear hangers for smooth pivoting and secure travel. Locknuts keep everything tight without over-torquing, so the suspension moves freely without binding under load.
The larger front hangers measure 3" long, 2-5/16" wide, and 2-1/8" tall overall, while the smaller rear hangers measure 2-1/8" long, 1-13/16" wide, and 1-1/2" tall. They’re designed to work with standard 1-3/4" wide double-eye leaf springs for an easy fit. The widths make welding straightforward on a typical 2" trailer frame so your suspension sits square and even.
The included table provides reference distances for common double-eye spring models—20" between hangers for a 1-3/4" axle and 24-7/8" for a 2-3/8" axle. These measurements are starting points so you can mock up your setup before welding. That ensures correct hanger placement and proper shackle angle once the trailer is loaded, giving you confident handling every time you tow.

Everything seems to be working fine. I have had no problems with the parts.
Unbelievable service. Order confirmation within 20 minutes. shipping info, with tracking number when shipped. Used standard shipping and still got it in a few days. Exactly what I ordered. Customer service second to none. Materials were great also.
I used these to install new springs on my trailer. For the price, it was easier than ordering all the parts separate. They are not galvanized so I painted the parts. Parts all came very quickly.
I am building a new trailer using an axle from my old trailer, this kit fit my needs and price point. Shipping was right on time, not that I was in a hurry.

Its been a year and the parts are working great
Wow, the shackle plates were long, but everything is quality materials. The nuts are locking and bolts are hard. Nuts threaded on without and problems. took a bit till I figured out the after shackle hanger where it said Up was to be against frame before welding. Welded on with easy,no penetration problem what so ever
I haven't installed this yet but it is just what I needed and expected. My old boat trailer need new everything so this does it for me, just some time to weld it on.

These spring hangers worked great. My boat is back on the road!
After purchasing an order of springs, shackle kit, U-bolts, bearing kit and a new Pro jack for a trailer repair I discovered a week delay in shipping due to one of the items on back order. (Email the day after I ordered informing me of the delay) A call to Angie K. On that Sunday!!!! Items were shipped quickly. All parts were clean ready to weld in place. While my project may have a long way to go, the installation of the springs was quick and easy with springs and the mounting kit from etrailer.
I have purchased several items from etrailer and have always been very satisfied with there parts and there service. Sometimes on older trailers the leaf spring bushings will wear out and the mounting bolts will get wear grooves in them. Its cheap to replace everything play it safe.

I bought a axle, springs wheels, hubs etc. to build a utility trailer, I inadvertently had ordered incompatible hubs for the selected axle the person filling the order noticed this and contacted customer service to alert them of the issue who then called me to correct the problem. This saved me the time and expense of returning the part and delaying the project. great service, attentive, knowledgeable employees and great products.

This is a great kit! It included everything we needed to replace the old, worn-out brackets on our 6'x10' trailer. The directions were helpful and the brackets and hardware are nice and solid. We've had zero issues with the leaf springs (purchased on etrailer.com, also) or the brackets. Would definitely recommend!
I ordered replacement leaf springs for my trailer using the instructions provided by etrailer. The correct items were shipped and they fit perfectly! The mounting hardware was exactly what was needed. No extra parts were needed as in run to the local hardware store! The springs went in with no problems.
