Question:

Hi, I have a trailer bed and a double-eye leaf spring. What hardware do I need to fabricate a rear hanger or equalizer on trailer suspension system? Currently I just have a bolt thru each eye, which I know is not correct. Thanks

We have some kits like the Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs - 1-1/2" Front, 7/8" Rear # APS1 and the Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs - 3-1/4" Front, 1-1/4" Rear # APS4.

You are correct that that bolting to your hangers on both ends is not correct, however the size of the shackle strap needed is determined based on your hanger length as you can see in these kits. So, the Shackle Strap - 3-1/8" Long # TRSL313 may or may not be a good fit based on the hanger size.
