Hanger Spacing to Use with a 24-1/4 inch Leaf Spring Light PR4B on Single Axle

Question:

if you have a e54SR 3500# double eye leaf spring axle assembly that is 25 1/8inch center to center on the eye,how can your shackle mount distance center to center be 25 3/4inch and still be able to have your shackle staps pointed towards the rear of the trailer. if your shackle is 1/2inch longer than the spring eyes I dont see how you will get your shackle straps angled towards the rear of the trailer .

You bring up an excellent question. The distance you actually want to use with the 25-1/8 inch spring part # e54SR between the hangers of the # APS1 is 24-7/8 inches so that it allows the shackle to angle the proper direction.
