Today we're going to be taking a look at Removable Caster Wheel Assembly. This is going to provide light support and make it easier to move your trailer. Now, keep it mind that this does reduce the overall jack capacity to 1,200 pounds. The wheel is able to spin, so its got a nice rotating design. That's going to make moving your trailer much easier. It's going to come with the snapper pin, this is included for fast, easy, mounting and removal of the assembly to the jack.
The housing, so this area right here, this is going to be made from a steel construction. It's going to have a really nice clear zinc finish, so it's going to be a highly resistant for rust and corrosion. The wheel is going to be made from a durable steel construction. Nice solid design, the unit design for round jacks with an outer tube diameter of 2 1/4" and then the inner tube diameter needs to be 2". So we can tell that by taking a measurement from inside edge to inside edge, and that's where we're going to get the 2" measurement from. This will fit around trailer jacks that have an inner tube diameter of 2".
The pinhole, this right here, this is going to give us a diameter of 3/8". Then I also took a measurement from the very bottom, the bottom edge right here. The center of the pinhole, and I got a measurement of about 1". The diameter of the wheel is going to measure 5 3/4", and then the width of the wheel, we can get a good look at that as well. That's going to give us a measurement, that also be right around 1 11/16". Now, what i want to do real quick is I actually have a jack.
I want to go ahead and show you how to install. Very simple process, all we're going to need to do is take our jack, place the assembly over the inner tube. Line up the pinholes, and then secure the assembly on to the jack with that included pin. That's all there is to it. That's going to do it for today's look at the Removable Caster Wheel Assembly..
Welded seam running circumference of wheel. This would take tongue weight of trailer and pressure load into 1/4". Asphalt driveway especially on hot day would have 1/4" grooves.Also the wheel is very sloppy like washers are needed. Not worth returning when customer pays freight and net of purchase price is applied to store credit. No thanks

Bought this to pair with Item #322-RDJ-2K. It fits perfectly to the jack. The wheel first worked perfectly and made moving my utility trailer super easy. After about a year all the paint fell off and it is now a rusty wheel. Also, even after using grease it does not swivel well anymore. I don't think there are any ball bearings in it. That would keep it fluid.
I rarely write reviews. The product itself is good. However, what sets this transaction apart is that I immediately had the name and number of someone from etrailer to contact if I had any problems at all. Further, I had an individual reach out to me via email making sure I received everything ok. These guys really seemed to go above and beyond.
Part arrived quickly, and fit perfectly. Once again, e trailer comes through.
I purchased the etrailer JC-102 to use a new Wells Cargo Tandem trailer that it came originally with a landing pad, which made it difficult to move around by hand rolling. This 2 1/4" Trailer Jack Removable Steel Castor Wheel is well constructed and a great value. I highly recommend this wheel assembly!
This caster is exactly what I was looking for. It fits perfect. Easily to order and easy to make sure it’s the right size. I will order again for any products that I need from etrailer.

Put this wheel on my 8' MiniGo cargo trailer. Bottom axel height - 8" clearance. Bottom frame height at level is 9.5" clearance. I like the wheel, but certainly won't tow with wheel attached (Audi Q7 tow vehicle). So will have to swap around skid plate (came with the trailer) and wheel when towing. Just something to think about.
I bought the wheel for the new jack I bought from etrailer so I could pull it around the yard with the lawn tractor doing light yard work... gathering cut limbs etc. It works perfect for that. Not having to attach the truck to do yard work is great... and besides the truck cannot go under the trees whereas the lawn tractor can.
I also bought the foot for using the truck.

Great addition to my tongue jack. Allows me to easily move my trailer around inside my shop.
I put this on my dog trailer. Because this trailer gets pulled in the field and through ditches. It is the only jack I have found that allows me to do this. Not to mention the time saved hooking and unhooking the trailer by half the time screwing the jack up or down. It was a little tight at use and the spring pin was stubborn when finding the hole to snap in. But 5 minutes with a little bit bigger drill bit just to chamfer the pin holes and a dremel tool to knock a little weld slag down and it almost works automatically. Love it.
Worked well to help with moving a utility trailer around on my side parking pad. One thing to note, the wheel is steel, welded together on the surface that rolls on the ground. This caused little lines in my concrete as I rolled it around. Other than that, it does what I wanted it to do.
Put this wheel on my utility trailer to make it easier to move trailer when not connected to truck. I can now move the trailer easily w/o straining my back and or using the truck. It is very easy to connect to the jack and when driving down the road with the trailer I always remove it to give me more clearance between the jack and the ground.
Bought this to replace a pad on the trailer jack. Went on in 5 minutes, no difficulties at all. The pin fit the original hole that the pad was bolted on to. The removable part is nice as the trailer is low and can scrape the ground at times. Quick and easy. The wheel is metal which I didn't expect but would think that it will make it durable and won't crack and break. Easy installation, easy on and off. Looks to be heavy duty enough to handle the load.

Once again e-trailer comes through with just what I needed. I needed a steel wheel for my travel trailer because the plastic one's broke. This is real beefy, and quality seems great, It cost a couple dollars more than the cheapo ones, but seems worth it. The shipping was good and fast. And customer service is unbeatable. The wheel is all metal. I ended up changing the wheel out on this to a plastic one. The metal one was leaving lines in my blacktop.
Who would have figured that?
Was delivered earlier than I thought it would This was a replacement of the original part ,but is built heavier than the original which is great. Ordered the pad and wheel adapters which work awesome. Have bought items from etrailer before and very satisfied with their service and product.
Just got these today from E-tailer. They came right on time and the support staff; Emily W. was awesome.
I am using these on a hard to load front end snowplow so probably not what most people use them for, but it looks like the jacks will work great.
