This Provider 215/75R17.5 radial tire is made for serious hauling. With a 16-ply rating and a maximum load of 4,805 lbs at 123 psi, it’s ready for heavy-duty use on long stretches of highway. The tire meets DOT specs and exceeds FMVSS standards, so you can cruise confidently at up to 81 mph without worrying about heat buildup or tread wear.
The steel wheel uses a 3-stage finishing process that includes a zinc phosphate bath, e-coat primer, and baked-on silver powder coat on both sides. That layered protection keeps rust and corrosion in check through moisture, road grime, and salt exposure. The result is a clean look that stays sharp season after season.
This tire’s radial design uses double steel belts and double polyester cords for long life and even tread wear. A nylon tread-firming belt overlay helps prevent separation, while the bake-tested rubber compound holds up over time. That combination delivers smooth tracking and stability at highway speeds.
The 17-1/2" x 6-3/4" hub-piloted steel wheel has an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern, +0.08" offset, and a pilot diameter of 4.76". It’s sturdy enough for demanding loads, with a wheel capacity of 6,005 lbs. Flange nuts (sold separately) are required for proper installation, ensuring a secure fit under heavy weight.
Tread depth bars give an easy visual cue for wear checks, and the regroovable tread allows additional mileage when permitted by law. With its 16/32" tread depth and strong radial construction, this combo is built for reliable service mile after mile.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

its a spare and holing up fine. I cant say much other than when asked for a 1 year review all I could do was go out, look at condition from being exposed to weather and check pressure. Pressure wa good still and tire looks as goos as it did a year ago.
