Hey, Julius. Sorry to hear what's going on. Have you checked and adjusted the tension? If you don't have experience using torsion spring system before, I recommend contacting a local garage door company to look the spring over.
Harder to find parts, convenient and informative website and prompt service.
This made a HUGE difference! Now this single woman can handle this ramp door!

This purchase was definitely worth the money. As a lawn care guy I raise and lower the ramp a lot. This will save ya back for your gf. lol The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, one of the cables keeps coming off.. it’s driving me insane! lol Still works with one though.

Install was easy, works as expected, easy to adjust tension. Installed with a ramp door for our garden shed a year ago. Still happy with it.
Every time I open my trailer ramp door I am so thankful I did this up grade. I had to buy a 36” pice of rebar to wind the spring and experiment with the placement of the brackets that go on the interior of the door. Truly a back saver!
I had my local Trailer shop install the Ramp Door Spring, and it works perfectly. Ramp door can be lifted with with ease. Great Kit.
