Used this kit to replace the lighting on a European bike rack to work with US hitch and wiring.
On the plus side it worked perfectly the first time I tested it and with a few cable ties and an additional mending plate, a couple of dollars in Home Depot, it was pretty easy to install.
On the down side, there were no instructions in the box so had to rely on the online video, and pushing the wires into the connection holes on the lights was a lot more tricky than it looked.
Overall I am very pleased with the product.
I recently came across a trailer that I wanted to strip down and re finish. This trailer was used at a summer camp and since it was not being used on the road it did not have any previous wiring with it so I bought this wiring kit. Be advised, it does not come with any mounting brackets and assumes that the trailer is already fitted with brackets. Seemed easy to install, yet after installation, only one light is working. Could be only one small faulty part ruining the whole light. If the lights had worked first or second try after installation, I would rate this product much higher.
After one year the hitch and light controller I bought are great. The hitch installed easy with the Video instruction help.
The bike rack, hitch kit and light kit allow me to take the bike everywhere we go while here in Germany.
Thanks ETRAILER!
Nice package-everything is there. One thing is make SURE when mounting the 4 lights that the nuts/washers are grounded to bare metal on your trailer. I just finished refurbing my trailer and had 4 coats of fresh paint-lights didn't work. Had to take my dremmel and grind the paint off down to bare metal around all the mounting holes. All is well now! Also, always had good luck with etrailer, but when i didn't get my order in about 2 weeks i had to call-i ordered the submersible lights and found out they were on back order for 2 months! yikes-glad i called as i switched up my order (got the non submersible lights and will just unplug when dipping in) but it would have been nice to know that upon ordering-so if you don't get your order quick, call em!!
Exactly what I ordered and needed! Prompt delivery! Much obliged!
I want to thank the folks at e trailer for the good service. All the parts I ordered are of good quality, they all worked good and I will be using e trailer from now on! I also think that the email they sent with the instructions for each item was a great idea.
My trailer sits outside all year long and after one year the lights still work fine.

Still working!
Looks nice, but no instructions whatsoever. The lights have copper holes in them, that are partially labeled, but some of the labels don't make any sense. And how can you stuff a twisted wire into a hole, it just doesn't work. How many engineers does is take to screw up a simple trailer light set? A pain in the butt, I wish I have never bought them. Will not by these sorts of things on line again, will go to local farm stores.

Each lamp will have two holes that are used for connection points. On the drivers side, one hole is for the brown wire, which is the running lamps. The other is for the left turn/brake lamp, which is the yellow wire. On the passenger side, one hole is for the brown running lamp wire, the other for the green right turn/brake lamp wire. To the wires, use a small flat blade screwdriver and push it in the small hole under the larger hole where the wire s. Push the stripped wire in until it stops, then remove the screwdriver. This locks the wire into place.
I bought springs, mounts and Tailight kit to fix up a rusty utility trailer. I cut, weld scraped and painted for the better part of a month in spare time. The springs and mounting instructions on e trailer are excellent. Only issue/shortcoming are the tail lights. Wire just pushes in and spring loaded strip holds them. I soldered and sealed the connection with silicone. So far that salt covered roads haven't hurt it in winter. The folks at etrailer are very helpful and prices are a good value.
TL29BK was easy to order, was delivered in a timely manner, and was a perfect match replacement for my 2010 Singer, Utility trailer. I was very much pleased and will certainly order from etrailer again if replacement parts are needed.

The Standard Trailer Light Kit with 25 Wire Harness is of very good quality and pricing and the order contained everything thing needed. I recommend this product.
Arrived quickly.
No packing slip but all parts appeared to be present and in good Shape.
No explanation of how to connect wires
to tail light assembly. Appears to be quick connect female receptacle on back of tail light assembly (solid pin receptacle?) but no male (pin) part in package. Maybe the answer is at the local hardware store. Otherwise I'll
Call the help number.

Thanks for your review, Captain! According to our installation video, the wires fasten to the taillights by simply pushing the individual wires into each hole past the metal tab in the lights. This will then create the electrical connection. If you have any further questions, please give us a call at 1-800-298-8924. We would love to help!
Lights don’t work. Also no instructions included.
Trailer hitch and instructions were top notch as was the wiring kit. Would do business again if the need arises.

I still like them just fine. Never an issue with either the hitch or the lights. Thanks
I haven't installed the lights yet as I'm waiting to get the trailer sandblasted and painted. But, it's exactly what I needed and I'm sure they're gonna work out just fine. eTrailer has a great lighting selection to choose from including LED's.

The trailer I installed the parts on belongs to my 93 yr old neighbor. Needless to say, it is used very little. He and his son were planning on using it and wanted me to check it out before doing so. Thats when I discovered the need for new bearings and seals. He also wanted it road worthy for any of the neighbors that might need to borrow it. However, what time it has been used, it has done exceptionally well. Very smooth and quiet and although I had a bit of difficulty getting the pigtail to plug into the connection on the truck, all lights are working for the first time in many years. Thank you for checking in on us. Have a blessed day.
Quite pleased with etrailer ball hitch accessories which I am using on a spindle wheel motorcycle carrier behind a fifth-wheel trailer.....

They are all serving their intended function just fine. Thanks
Can't beat the prices and product selection. I was able to get bearings, races and seals to do two hubs for what I would have paid to do one locally. Although the bearing kits were made in China, they appeared to be a better quality bearing than the China bearings I removed from the hubs. No issues with packaging or shipping. Not only can one find parts here but, lots of good info and support as well.

The trailer kit I ordered arrived in a timely fashion and the items included are solid nice looking pieces.
I reviewed the video on installation and found the wiring and installation of the lights to be extremely simple. I rewired my entire trailer, replaced the tail lights and added the running lights (did not have these before I ordered the kit) in about two hours. Could have done it faster but I was in no rush.
I would definately recommend the company and products to anyone in need of replacing wiring and/or lights.

Product is still in place, still working beautifully. Did have to replace on of the tail lights but that was due to an issue with the tilt in the trailer and the light getting smashed on a rock -
First off--Dealing with etrailer.com was a pleasure. The trailer light kit was just what we needed. Unfortunately our older trailer would not provide as good a ground as that required. The forward clearance lights worked fine but we had to individually ground the rear lights directly to the trailer frame next to the light mounts. Also, one of the rear lights, the one without the license plate light, had debris inside that precluded it lighting appropriately. After completely disassembling it we found wire shavings/cuttings that impeded a solid contact. Fortunately the co-owner of the trailer is an electrician and he had all the solutions. Alone I would have had to hire someone.

Lights continue to function appropriately after a year of exposure to Montana weather.
The light kit was shipped promptly and nicely packaged. Everything looks to be made of very good components. I will be insalling this kit on a mobility scooter carrier and 90% of what I need was included in this kit.
Thanks Much, just got in from installing everything I ordered and it
all went on nicely. I rebuilt a 6' X 12' 1999 utility trailer
with treated lumber etc..........plus your parts, looks great. Thanks
again, going to do the same for another utility trailer I have, a
6' X 10, so, I'll be ordering from you later in the summer. Thanks
again
came quickly
Again you Guys have made life easy with your video and helpful tips!
Like your shipping packages as well. Compact with little waste of materials.
I used this product as a light system for my motorcycle carrier when I haul my TW200. With the bike on the carrier the vehicle taillights are blocked.
The TL29K light kit was what I used to solve this problem.
