Installation of the wires into the Standard Trailer Light Kit with 25 foot Wire Harness, item # TL29BK, is fairly simple, plug the corresponding wires on the # TL29BK kit into the upper (larger) holes on the back of the taillights. There are two holes for tail/brake lights and running lights. These holes are labeled. The wires should be stripped prior to insertion. The yellow wire goes on the left and is inserted into a tail/brake light port and the brown wire is inserted into a tail light port. On the right side the green wire is inserted into a turn/brake light port and the brown wire is inserted into a tail light port.
The lower (smaller) set of holes are there to allow removal of the wires if need be. You would stick a small round object into the lower hole and press, releasing the wire. After inserting the wires they should be routed along the indention in the light housing when mounted to avoid crushing the wires.
We have a video that details the wire installation near the end, for you to review.
