Question:
Hi, I just purchased Optronics Trailer Taillilght Kit, part # TL29BK I cannot seem to find the instructions. Can you send me a .pdf of the instructions for this product? I cannot find a download instruction on the product page. I looked on the Optronics website and found the kit but did not find any instructions to download there either. Thank you. Karsten Shields

Optronics doesn't offer instructions for the # TL29BK trailer taillight kit. However, if you click the link I provided to the the trailer wiring help article, you'll see a wiring diagram showing how the kit would be used to wire a trailer.
The wiring system shown in the diagram is more elaborate than what you'd have, so you'd ignore all the wire colors but the white, green, yellow and brown.
The green wire feeds the right turn/brake lamp. From the front of the trailer, it would run along the right side of the trailer, and the wire would push into the corresponding slot in the back of the taillight. The yellow wire feeds the left turn/brake lamp and would run along the left side. The wire would plug into the rear of the lamp. The white wire would ground to the trailer frame, usually to the trailer tongue and the brown wire would run down one side of the trailer, pick up the side marker light, continue to one taillight, then the next, and around the other side to pick up the final marker light.
