Difficulty of Installing Optronics Trailer Light Kit # TL29BK On Small Trailer

Question:

I have a 4 way flat connector on my truck. If I buy the light kit for the small trailer I have, do you think I can put it on myself, is it fairly simple and self explainatory? Thanks

A light kit like the Optronics Trailer Light Kit, part # TL29BK, for your trailer is a fairly simple installation if you have average mechanical abilities.

I spent the day working on my utility trailer today, went to install the new light kit and I am having a problem getting the wires to push into the tail lights. any suggestions on how to get the wires into the push grabber holes? Thank you

Make sure the ends of the wires are stripped and that you're using the upper (larger) holes for installation. It's really just a matter of pushing the stripped end of the wire into the hole until it secures into place. You may need to play around with the angle/force but it will eventually go in.
