Moving a trailer by hand shouldn’t feel like a wrestling match. The Dutton-Lainson jack’s 8" diameter x 2-1/4" wide spoked wheel glides easily across concrete or gravel, and the caster turns a full 360 degrees so it moves in whatever direction you push. The sidewind handle is smooth and comfortable, making small adjustments or full lifts easy. Whether you’re guiding a rig into a shed or repositioning it in the driveway, this setup eliminates the struggle of fighting a wheel that won’t turn.

Boat ramps, salt air, and wet storage are tough on metal, but this jack is ready for it. The outer tubing has a matte black powder coat finish that shields against UV rays and corrosion, while the inner tubing carries Dutton-Lainson’s TUFFPLATE zinc finish with a 500-hour salt spray rating. Drain holes in the inner post prevent water buildup, and the combination of coatings outlasts typical zinc or powder coat finishes. It’s a rugged, marine-grade design built to stay smooth and rust-free season after season.

With a 1,500-lb lift capacity and 12" of lift, this jack handles heavy tongue weights with confidence. The bracket height ranges from 16-5/8" retracted to 28-5/8" extended, giving plenty of adjustability for leveling or hitching. The J-bolt style handle allows you to position the jack quickly, and the side-mount design keeps it clear of winch posts or boxes. It’s a simple, strong setup that works exactly as expected every time you crank it.
Keeping it running smoothly is easy. Built-in grease zerks make routine lubrication quick, while durable steel construction ensures it stays solid even with frequent use. The swivel design bolts around trailer frames up to 3" wide x 5" tall, and the included mounting bracket and hardware make installation straightforward. With quality gearing and a sealed design, this jack performs flawlessly and holds up over years of real-world use.

I have not used it much because of some issues with the boat, but it still looks like its brand new and cracks up and down very smoothly I dont doubt that its going to be a substantial improvement on my previous jack

This jack is perfect. Trailer popped off the hitch once my fault and the jack took it in stride with NO damage. Love it.

Jack still working as well as when new. Just greased it for the first time recently. Great product! I’d recommend it again.

it works very good. No problems. Im glad I upgraded to the taller jack. Now, all the water inside the boat runs our quick. This jack seems to be sturdier than the standard quality. Id buy it again.

That is great to hear! I am glad it was almost like an exact replacement to your original. What kind of trailer did you replace it on?
