Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking together at our B&W Continuum Weight Distribution head assembly with a two-inch extended shank and your 2 5/16 inch ball. Folks, this is gonna be rated for 16,000 pounds gross towing weight. This is a replacement hitch head and it is designed to work seamlessly with your B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System. So once again, it's a two-inch shank, so the shank is extended about four inches longer than the one that came with your original equipment. Again, it fits our users, rather, a 2 5/16 inch ball and it handles up to 16,000 pounds capacity.
Now you're probably gonna need this extra four inches of clearance maybe for tailgates, spare tires, trailer accessories, those kind of things, and just for maybe an easier hookup altogether. It does come with a preset angle. So as you can see, this is not strip and down, it's preset, so that's gonna mean hassle-free setup. There's no manual adjustments needed and it ensures proper alignment, and with your weight distribution right out of the box ready to go. And as always, it's adjustable for down a little bit.
Well, folks, that is gonna wrap it up. Made of hardened steel, nice hammer-looking powder coat finish on the finish, so it's not really smooth. It's got a little grip to it which I like. That's gonna wrap it up. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

Excellent communication before and after my purchase. I had asked B&W during my original purchase if they would consider making me a hitch with a bit longer shank so Incould fully open the tailgate on my F150 and they were hesitant at the time as they wanted to do more testing on the impact to the tow vehicle / trailer relationship. These guys do some serious testing before they let the product go out the door. etrailer does an excellent job of representing their venders. Couldn’t ask for a better process.
