Question:
Seasense used to make a stainless steel trailer jack that was made with the same specs as the mighty jack. Why isn’t this jack available anymore? Are there any other stainless steel trailer jacks out there? I had one on my old boat and made the mistake of selling it with the jack unaware you can’t find them anymore. I think it was around $300 ten years ago. That jack is over ten years old, still works great and has zero corrosion. If I had only known they were no longer available. It looks very similar the bass pro mighty wheel jack, except it was stainless steel.

I have a few options that may work for you, however, we are not aware of any stainless steel jacks on the market since the discontiuned SeaSense jack. Since you are using this jack with your boat, I recommend looking at the Fulton F2 Swing-Up, Wide-Track Trailer Jack # F1413040134. This jack features an aluminum alloy construction, and is made for marine, recreational and utility trailers. The inner and outer aluminum alloy tubes prevent rust even in the harshest environment.
For a more budget friendly option the Sidewind Swivel Jack with 6" Wheel with 1500 pound capacity # DL22210 is a good product to consider. It is Zinc plated with TUFFPLATE finish to sustain a longer life. This will allow more durability when using this with your boat trailer. The Zinc plated yellow chromate TUFFPLATE finish has three times the corrosion resistance of standard zinc plated trivalent chrome process and 30 percent greater corrosion resistance when compared to powder coated finish.
