Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Demco 50 degree A-frame coupler. This is a channel mount design. Now this coupler installs onto your A-frame trailer, and provides attachment points for channel mount connectors, such as Lynette rings, a clevis, or a hitch-ball coupler. This unit features a capacity of up to 14,000 pounds. It is designed for 50 degree A-frame trailers. So, you'll see the design here. Now, I'm going to take a measurement.
The distance we have from this wall to the same point on the other side, and that's going to give us a measurement of, I'm going to saw about 11-5/8 of an inch. That's the span of that opening right there. This is a standard three inch channel bracket. Outside edge to outside edge, gives a measurement of 3-11/16 of an inch. I do want to point out that you will notice that it does not have a hole for a trailer jack.It is made from a very durable steel construction.
It's got nice bracing on it. Nice consistent welds. And it's coated with a silver powder coated finish, which is going to help resist rust and corrosion. It's a bolt on, or weld on installation. You'll notice that on each side, it does have three mount holes.
These all have a diameter of 5/8 of an inch. And they're separated on center by three inches. And then the adjustment holes, right here, are separated on center by two inches. They have a diameter of 5/8 of an inch as well. From the center of the top hole, to the center of the bottom hole, that has a distance of 10 inches, again, on center. That's going to do it for today's look at the Demco 50 degree A-frame coupler.
Again, this is a channel mount design, using a standard three inch channel bracket.
