Question:
Hello and thank you for your help. I have a lets get Aero Trailer, it is built on 2x2 tube frame, it has a bolt on coupler. I am trying to put it on my lifted Jeep on big tires. I have a Gen Y 17 inch hitch that is 3 inches below my differential, so I need to raise my coupler a few inches. I was wondering how if possible to mount the Demco 50-Degree A-Frame Coupler without Jack Hole - Channel Mount - Silver - Bolt On - 14,000-lb. I am attaching pics to give you an idea of what I am up against. Thank you for your help I really appreciate it. Best Wishes

I reached out to Lets Go Aero for confirmation that you can even use the Demco 50-Degree A-Frame Coupler # DM15349-52 and they said that you will not have any structural issues with having the bolt holes drilled in the sides of your Frame as the Demco will require. Since the holes in the new coupler will not line up centered on your frame rails you will need to pad out the top of the frame 1/2" with some additional steel to center the bolt holes in the tube.
You will need the Demco Trailer Coupler # DM12688-95 and Mounting Bolts # PS024202 to attach to a 2" hitch ball on your Jeep.
