Product was exact match for wiring harness being replaced, exactly as advertised for my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. I initially overlooked the integrated 10A fuse (included in kit) that installs into the harness, but Customer Service helped to remind me and everything is working great! These guys are ABSOLUTELY my go-to if there should be a next time.
Easy to install
Purchased to replace stock wiring harness that was 11 years old and rusting. New harness was very easy to install. Simple unplug existing and plug in the new one. Works great. Video showing process was helpful.

It was super easy to install. I watched the tutorial video on the website and installed it by myself in about an hour. I was impressed on how heavy duty it really was. I also bought the plug and play wiring harness. I will be testing it out today.
Wiring harness does as expected and was a easy connection/install. The video where to locate factory tow plugs and how to takedown panel was a asset making for quick process. Tested all function post install everything good ready to now haul with my Sorento.

Trailer hitch and wiring kit were a “perfect” fit. All holes lined up properly all necessary nuts/bolts provided. Videos for installation are very helpful and provide clear views of all the key issues for a simple professional installation. I found the paper instructions for both confusing and poor quality graphics. Video the only way to go! My experience with initial ordering, delivery and follow up questions were very good. These folks really know what quality customer service is as well a produce an excellent product.
Part was super easy to install with the quick-connects. I especially appreciate the thorough installation videos. Wiring needs to be routed through a small hole in the rear of the bumper frame on the passenger side that is impossible to see and very difficult to feel out (2008 Hyundai Veracruz), but with patience and determination, you'll figure it out; watching the install video helps you find your bearings. I was disappointed in the shipping speed (or lack thereof rather) as it took a little over a week to arrive.
The site was easy to use and search for what I wanted and needed. In addition, the DIY videos on the etrailer.com site gave me the confidence to complete the install. From installing the hitch receiver to the connection of the 4-pole wiring kit(hint: if you're vehicle has the prewiring for towing, they have the custom kits to match). Install was a snap, like 5 minutes, due to the exact fit of the product. It took out the unnecessary problem of figuring out the wiring. Thanks for everything etrailer.com! I decided to tackle installing a hitch on my 2020 Kia Sorento myself. Let's just say I'm no mechanic and working on the concrete floor of my garage with no help and at my age (76) wasn't exactly ideal. But, thanks to the awesome video tutorials from etailer.com I felt brave enough to give it a shot.
Those videos were a lifesaver! They gave me the clear, step-by-step instructions I needed and the confidence to keep going. I even went with the Curt T-connector wiring harness they recommended, and let me tell you, it was just as good as the factory wiring.
The installation itself wasn't a walk in the park. Using my little floor jack helped lift the hitch into place and working from my creeper made things a bit more comfortable. At one point, I even had to jack up the passenger side for better clearance in my garage (don't forget to block the front tires for safety!).

Your provided instructions on finding connectors connections on our 2019 KIA Sorento, proved to be exact and very clear. The combined order of Curt Wiring Harness and Curt Trailer Hitch, was promptly and properly received today, and using your videos, both installations were accomplished with regular hobby hand tools to a perfect fit and fast results. The folks at e-trailer were absolutely great in helping me identifying the proper harness for my new 2016 Sorento. Once ordered it came in a few days and installation was a breeze. The online video was great at explaining the installation process - much better than a handful of printed pages and diagrams. Once the access panel was removed and the factory caps removed from the prewired connections it was effortless - about 20 minutes start to finish. Everything worked perfect during the post installation check - Well done etrailer.
Hello, I am very pleased with the ease and quality of this wiring harness. The way this is designed, with the proper connectors that connect directly to the factory conectors, was super easy to install with no splicing of wires. As for the Hitch itself, again, I am very pleased with the quiality of the unit. I would definitely recommend having 2 people for the install and proper tools, unless you have a Hitch rig to be able to do it yourself. To have a Hitch such as this installed by someone else would have cost hundreds more, I have checked.
Very easy to install on a 2019 Kia Sorento with the factory tow package. It plugs right into the factory connectors. For the 4 Pole Flat connector I used bracket 18144 since the wire is fairly short. It looks clean and professional. This bracket attaches directly to the no-drill bracket already present on Draw-Tite hitch receivers.
To check if your vehicle has the tow package you just need to pop out the 2 plastic rivets on the driver side panel shown in the install video and see if the 2 connectors are present. I was not able to confirm through the dealer or Kia corporate which Sorentos have the factory tow package.

Package arrived on time. However, there was a lot of tape holding the box together, upon opening notice one item was missing. Apparently box was damaged in shipping and they taped it up.Contacted seller, they responded immediately had the missing part in 2 days. Kudos.
Fit perfectly. Hope this one lasts longer than the previous tow harness.
